Week Eleven - Collaborative Art

This week each student was given an irregular-shaped piece of paper - a puzzle piece - that was part of a larger sheet of paper.

The theme was: “What are you thankful for?” They had to include a picture of themselves in the artwork. I was delighted to see things like family, nature, and food (great job parents!)

My favorite might be the piece with a picture of the boy one of the girls has a crush on. She didn’t want the boy to see it, so I had to review her work outside of class.

We didn’t have enough time to actually put the puzzle together so the children didn’t see the completed piece. Please share the images below with them if they would like to see how it turned out.
